A collection of 11 duets for two saxophones (AA or AT) with accompaniment on the included CD. The pieces are written for musicians who have been playing their instrument for approximately two to three years and have some expirience reading music and are familiar with the most important keys. Compositions are written in a variety of diverse styles, from Jazz to Calypso, from Blues to French Waltzes. The melodic conception of the pieces and their varied design make these duets not only appropriate for use during traditional music lessons but also as solo pieces for concerts and recitals.
The publication includes a part for two alto saxophones, plus a separately inserted part for a second voice for tenor saxophone. The separately inserted part also includes a Chord Leadsheet for the accompanying instruments (piano, keyboard, guitar, ...), both for playing the two alto saxophones (or AT) and for playing the two tenor saxophones from the main part. The enclosed CD contains all the tracks recorded 3 times, a demo version for two alto saxophones, a second time a demo version for two tenor saxophones and a third time only the piano accompaniment in the version for alto saxophones (or AT).  In the demo recordings, the saxophones are recorded on separate channels and the individual voices can therefore be muted and practiced or played with the other voice on the recording.
