Product description
A swing chart styled after the Michael Bublé version, arranger Scott Ragsdale nailed it. At 148 BPM, in the key of B-flat modulating to C, the vocal range is from F below middle C to 3rd space C, treble clef. Lead trumpet range is to written A above the staff and there are optional solos instrumental parts for B-flat, E-flat and bass clef instrument in lieu of the vocal. Excellent chart. This title is available in SmartMusic.
George Gershwin (1898 – 1937) was an American composer and pianist, whose compositions spanned both popular and classical genres. Among his best-known works are the orchestral compositions Rhapsody in Blue (1924) and An American in Paris (1928), the songs "Swanee" (1919) and "Fascinating Rhythm" (1924), the jazz standards "Embraceable You" (1928) and "I Got Rhythm" (1930), and the opera Porgy and Bess (1935), which included the hit "Summertime".
