Product description
The first album for the guitar from the composition workshop of Milan Zelenka and Jana Obrovská today belongs to the publications traditionally used in the basic artistic education. The album contains 32 instructional songs that can be included in the lowest level of instruction. Pieces are written programmatically, utilizing a wide range of expression means, thanks to which pupils learn about musically attractive elements at the beginning of the guitar game.
Milan Zelenka (* 1939) is a Czech concert guitarist and professor at the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague. He studied guitar at the Prague Conservatory. He has given concerts in many countries not only in Europe and Asia, but also in Japan and the USA. In the Czech Republic he opened the way for classical guitar to the concert stages with his sold-out concerts. As a teacher, he has educated a number of young guitarists, and in addition to his teaching work, he also conducts master classes abroad and is invited to serve on the juries of major world guitar competitions. Recently he has also been intensively involved in composition.
