Product description

This wonderful collection includes 14 well-known pieces for piano by Frederic Chopin. Interesting biographical information on Chopin's life is included. Music includes popular Waltzes, Preludes, Mazurkas and more. Beautiful performances of every piece are included on the enclosed CD.

Fryderyk Chopin (1810-1849) was a Polish composer and piano virtuoso of French-Polish origin. He is considered one of the greatest masters of Romantic music. He wrote his works primarily for solo piano and all his other compositions also contain a piano part. His major piano works include mazurkas, waltzes, nocturnes, polonaises, instrumental ballads, etudes, preludes and sonatas. He also wrote two piano concertos, several chamber works and several songs on Polish texts. Some of his compositions were published posthumously.
