Product description
"Three Pieces for Musical Clock" is three pieces for four flutes ( three flutes and an alto flute). Beethoven wrote these three pieces in 1799, probably for the musical clock of Count Joseph Deym, the husband of Countess Josephine Brunswick, who was one of the important people in Ludwig van Beethoven's life.
The outstanding Hungarian flautist and teacher Gergely Ittzés (*1969) arranged these works for flute quartet.
The book includes the score plus separately inserted parts for each flute.
Ludwig van Beethoven (1770 - 1827) was a German composer and pianist, a period of transition from musical classicism to romanticism. He is one of the most admired composers in history and his compositions are among the most played in the repertoire of classical music. Beethoven's work includes 9 symphonies, 32 piano sonatas, 5 piano concertos, 10 sonatas for piano and violin, countless string quartets, vocal and theatrical music and many other small compositions.
