Ennio Morricone (1928-2020) was an Italian composer, conductor and pianist who wrote music of various musical styles. He is best known for his film music. He wrote music for more than 400 films and television series and also composed more than 100 works of classical music. Some of his most famous film scores include the music from The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966), Once Upon a Time in the West (1968), The Professional (1981), The Mission (1986), The Expendables (1987), Bio Paradise (1988) and The Hateful Eight (2015).
