Product description
"Concerto" is a three-movement recital composition written by Daniel Hellbach for alto recorder or flute accompanied by a chamber orchestra consisting of alto recorder (solo), violin 1, violin 2, viola, cello and piano. The concerto is based on classical musical forms but is clearly influenced by Latin American melodies, harmonies and rhythms.
This set brings you the score, including all parts, and is really an extension of the opportunity to play this "Concerto" with the real ensemble as you can hear it on the accompanying CD with the solo book (ACM2012).
Daniel Hellbach (*1958) is a Swiss music teacher and composer. His musical style combines elements of popular, rock and jazz music together with classical music, and his compositions are very popular among young musicians.
