Product description
Selection of 125 Carl Czerný’s exercises in František Maxián older’s revision is very detailed and comprehensive set that tries to include almost all technique difficulties of piano play. You can find here very short (4, 6 and 8 measure) exercises, and also relatively more extensive and from the technique point of view more difficult exercises (etudes), that are logically centred at the end of the publication. There are detailed methodic notes (also in French translation) for each exercise, that help to handle them in easier, more quick and mainly more technically.
Carl Czerny (1791-1857) was an Austrian pianist, composer and teacher of Czech origin. Today he is known mainly for his etudes and finger exercises for piano.
