Product description
Le Coucou (The Cuckoo) is a popular recital piece with a sound-painting natural theme from the harpsichord suite Pièces de clavecin (Compositions for harpsichord) written by the French composer Louis-Claude Daquin.
We now bring you this nice composition in an arrangement for intermediate violinists with piano accompaniment.
Louis-Claude Daquin (1694 - 1772) was a French composer, organist and harpsichordist. He showed his musical talent from childhood - from the age of six he played for King Louis XIV, at the age of twelve he became organist in the Sainte-Chapelle church in Paris. In 1755 he became chief organist at Notre Dame.
