Product description
The composition Dokolečka dokola is written for 3 accordions and uses repetitive patterns common to the musical style of minimalism. After playing a prescribed part, players get to experience what it is like when the number of repetitions is not prescribed and it is up to them how many times they repeat the pattern. This results in different harmonies each time, depending on the individual players' decisions. The technical level corresponds to the students of the 4th - 7th grade of art and music school.
Žaneta Vítová is a Czech accordionist, improviser, composer and accordion teacher. She graduated from the Prague Conservatory in the field of accordion and also studied at the VŠMU, the Jaroslav Ježek Conservatory and the performance studio at FAVU. She is a member of a few music ensembles, is a participant in several musical projects of various musical styles and also performs solo.
