Gipsy Songs is a collection of seven songs composed by Antonin Dvorak for the amazing German tenor singer - Gustav Walter. This is why the first edition was only in German. However, the second edition from 1881 was already in English and Czech. The songs became very popular and the fourth of these songs became one of the most popular one in the world music.
Antonín Leopold Dvořák (1841-1904) was a Czech composer. He is one of the most important Czech composers and is the best known and most performed Czech composer in the world. Dvořák's symphonic and concert works are traditionally part of the repertoire of major orchestras around the world.
