Product description
Interest in Dvorak's writing prompted his publisher Fritz Simrock to request a new work from him, this time shorter and, where possible, again of a "Slavonic"nature. This commission gave rise to Mazurka in E minor for violin and piano. The work has become a favourite virtuoso concert piece. This title, part of the first Complete Critical Edition of Works by Antonin Dvorak, was edited by Jan Hanus and Karel Solc.
Antonín Leopold Dvořák (1841-1904) was a Czech composer. He is one of the most important Czech composers and is the best known and most performed Czech composer in the world. Dvořák's symphonic and concert works are traditionally part of the repertoire of major orchestras around the world.
