Seven partially serious, funny, virtuoso and cabaret solo pieces for the alto recorder, that require solid recorder technique and musical expressiveness in short sequences. Modern playing techniques are explained and for every movement Zahnhausen gives exact explanations. The seven pieces were written in the years 1988-90 and can be played singularly or as a complete cycle.
