Product description

"Passacaille pour harpe" by Georg Friedrich Händel is a beautiful piece of music that will enchant you with its rich musical language and virtuoso melodies. This piece is the final movement of the Seventh Suite, G minor, HWV 432 and was written in 1720 for a collection of eight suites for harpsichord. Around 1909, the renowned harpist and arranger Tiny Béon transcribed the Passacaille for harp, allowing harpists around the world to experience its beauty. Her arrangement preserves all the nuances and subtleties of the original composition, while using the harp's unique qualities to enhance its charm and richness of tone.

Georg Friedrich Händel (1685 - 1759) was a German organist, harpsichordist, teacher and composer of the Baroque period, who left humanity a unique artistic heritage. We know more than 600 compositions from him, and many of his operas and oratorios are among the most valuable in European music. His music is generally characterized as festive, royal and attractive.
