- Hej vánoce, dlouhý noce
Product description
The title " Hej, Vánoce, dlouhý noce" by Otmar Mácha is a Christmas suite for children's choir, percussion instruments, recorder and strings. The piece combines traditional Czech and Moravian Christmas songs, which Mácha arranged into a cycle with instrumental interludes. The chorus is performed from a one-part singing to a four-part arrangement, and the accompanying instruments emphasize traditional elements of folk music. Otmar Mácha, known for his ability to blend traditional folk elements with classical music, has created a work that speaks to the hearts of young and old alike, one that can evoke the joy and comfort associated with Christmas.
This title brings you the score of this suite, including the piano reduction (choir and piano), which is included separately in the book. The lyrics are in Czech.
The score for the accompanying ensemble is available for hire from Czech Radio.
