A very interesting arrangement of these folk songs for two flutes by Jiri Smutny (1932). As oppose to common arrangements of folk songs, most of these include preludium and final sequel and the second part is often more difficult than the first one. As a teacher you won´t get bored and you will give your student the impression that he plays a rather difficult composition. It is also suitable for two music students of different levels and skills. Most songs have an ad libitum triangle part that can be replaced by any other percussion. Each song is therefore a very interesting piece! Level of difficulty 1+
