Jaroslav Ježek (1906-1942) was a famous Czech composer, pianist, improviser and conductor, author of dance, theater, film and classical music. He is considered to be one of the first jazz musicians in Czechoslovakia. Three Policemen Step was composed in 1928 for a play Premiéra Skafandr and later was included in a play Ostrov Dynamit (1930). This succesful foxtrot was the first piece from trio - Jaroslav Ježek, Jiří Voskovec and Jan Werich. Now we offer you this nice foxtrot in a beautiful arrangement for one piano and six hands.
Jaroslav Ježek (1906-1942) was a Czech composer, pianist, improviser and conductor, author of dance, theatre, film and classical music. He is considered a pioneer of jazz music in Czechoslovakia. He is known as the "third" in the author duo Voskovec and Werich, and the author of most of the well-known and still popular songs of the their Osvobozene divadlo theatre.
