Product description
Concerto in Eb major for clarinet and orchestra by Leopold Koželuh in an arrangement for clarinet and piano. The book includes a piano accompaniment plus a pull-out part for clarinet.
Leopold Kozeluh (born Jan Antonin Kozeluh) (1747 - 1818) was a Czech composer and pedagogue. The composer Jan Antonin Kozeluh was his cousin and taught him music for some time. To avoid misunderstandings and confusion with his cousin, he changed his first name to Leopold. About four hundred of Kozeluh's compositions have survived to this day. These include some thirty symphonies, 22 piano concertos including one concerto for four-hand piano, two concertos for clarinet, 24 violin sonatas, 63 piano trios and six string quartets. Kozeluh's work was acclaimed throughout Europe and during his lifetime he was already one of the most important musical figures of the late 18th century.
