Product description
Variations Brillantes op.18 by Ernst Krahmer were originally written for "csakan" (a musical instrument similar to the recorder) and first published in 1823. Now we bring you these successful variations in an arrangement for recorder with piano accompaniment.
Ernst Krähmer (1795-1837) was an Austrian composer, oboist and virtuoso playing the "csakan", a wind instrument similar to the recorder, which was in vogue in Vienna at the beginning of the 19th century. He composed a large number of entertaining salon compositions for the csakan, most of which are still played in arrangement for recorder.
