"Spring Preludes was created in the spring of 2020. Each of them was created spontaneously and so-called in one go over the course of several days. I had no stylistic or genre restrictions, I wrote for the sheer joy of creating. The first listener and critic (apart from my immediate family) was my friend, music composer Libor Dřevikovský. At his instigation, I offered the sheet music to the editors of Vydavatelstvi a nakladatelství Český rozhlas, and by a lucky twist of fate, the Spring Prelude made it into the editorial plan."
