The Piano Sonata in A minor, K.310, is a piece Mozart wrote in the summer of 1778 and is the first of only two Mozart piano sonatas in the minor key (the other is the Sonata in C minor, K. 457). This edition is supplemented with relevant fingerings and historical and stylistic commentary.
The book includes a unique code and website address where all the recordings (mp3s) of the pieces in the book can be listened to and, if necessary, downloaded to a computer.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756-1791) was an Austrian composer and piano virtuoso. He is recognized as a genius musician and phenomenal composer who composed both secular and sacred works. He was a child prodigy and from his childhood he gave concerts all over Europe. Among his most famous works are the operas The Marriage of Figaro and Don Giovanni, as well as the composition A Little Night Music and his last and unfinished funeral mass, Requiem in D minor (KV 626)
