Play the Blues is excellent sheet music book for all the players that play their instrument for 2 to 3 years and would like to play and eventually try to improvise to the most recognizable music style in popular music, which is 12 measure blues. All the songs are written as a duet but they are easily playable as solo. For each song there are blues sequences (or notes) that are suitable for improvisation and simultaneously there are some of the basic blues tricks, melodies and themes that you can use in your own improvisation. There is enjoyable and easily recognizable accompaniment recorded on the attached CD. All the songs are filled with chord marks and in case you would like to play the songs with live rhytmic accompaniment there are principal templates for rhytmic accompaniment for piano, guitar, bass and drums – for each song individually. All the sheet music books can be mutually combinated. Very variable and precise title.
