This item was published for the 100th anniversary of the czech composer Jaroslav Jezek (1906-1942) and brings you 10 very well-known songs that were used for different pieces of theatre. All three mentioned composer were great represantatives of the theatre scene before the war.
Jaroslav Ježek (1906-1942) was a Czech composer, pianist, improviser and conductor, author of dance, theatre, film and classical music. He is considered a pioneer of jazz music in Czechoslovakia. He is known as the "third" in the author duo Voskovec and Werich, and the author of most of the well-known and still popular songs of the their Osvobozene divadlo theatre.
Milan Dvořák (*1934) is a Czech composer, arranger and pianist. Milan Dvořák is the author of many film scores, songs and orchestral pieces, jazz etudes and other compositions.
