- The Winner Takes It All
Product description
Bring Broadway to your concert with this moderate tempo ballad from the international musical hit, Mamma Mia!, currently running in New York and 18 other cities around the world. The show incorporates the music of the Swedish vocal group ABBA, and Greg Gilpin has turned this hit into a fine choral work.
ABBA is a Swedish pop group founded in 1972. It is one of the most successful bands in the history of popular music. The name of this musical group was created by combining the initial letters of the first names of its members Agnetha, Björn, Benny and Anni-Frid. All songs are written by Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. ABBA achieved an international breakthrough after winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1974 with the song "Waterloo" and was the first non-English speaking pop group to conquer the charts in English-speaking countries, including the UK and the USA. In 1982, the group celebrated 10 years of existence, but in early 1983, their last single Under Attack - You Owe Me One - was released, after which ABBA took a temporary break, which still lasts.
