Product description
A Gershwin(R) classic for solo vocalist arranged by Dave Wolpe, this chart is written in two keys, B-flat and E-flat, to allow flexibility. The parts are reversible -- just flip the page. Wolpe knows how to make your vocalist sound fantastic and how to keep the band happy with some wonderful Sinatra-style ensemble writing. Vocal range low key (B-flat): B-flat below middle C to third line B-flat, high key (E-flat): first line E-flat to fourth space E-flat. A winner. (3:04)
George Gershwin (1898 – 1937) was an American composer and pianist, whose compositions spanned both popular and classical genres. Among his best-known works are the orchestral compositions Rhapsody in Blue (1924) and An American in Paris (1928), the songs "Swanee" (1919) and "Fascinating Rhythm" (1924), the jazz standards "Embraceable You" (1928) and "I Got Rhythm" (1930), and the opera Porgy and Bess (1935), which included the hit "Summertime".
Ira Gershwin (1896-1983) was an American songwriter who collaborated mainly with his younger brother, composer George Gershwin.
