Josef Třeštík (* 1981) Czech composer and musical dramaturg. He studied composition at HAMU in Prague, after which he continued his studies at the Royal College of Music in London and took private lessons with the Dutch composer Louis Andriessen. This title brings you a remarkably mature piano composition by a representative of the youngest generation of composers. It was written in 1998, when the author was only seventeen years old. The formally closed work culminating in a double fugue premiered in 1999. The publication is accompanied by a biography and a photograph of the author.
