Franz Xaver Wolfgang Mozart (1971 - 1844), also known as Mozart's son, was an Austrian composer and pianist. He received an excellent musical education. His teachers were also Antonio Salieri and Johann Nepomuk Hummel. Like his father, he began composing at a very early age. As a musician, he enjoyed recognition both as a composer and as a pianist. However, he greatly underestimated himself and constantly compared himself to his father. He never married and had no children. He died in Karlovy Vary, where he is also buried.
