Opis produktu
„Jewish miniatures“ for solo cello is introducing music inspired by Hebrew folklore. The author of these nine pieces is Tomáš Novotný – an associate professor at the Ostrava university. Jaroslav Kulhan (a professor at the Prague conversatory) did the revision of this solo piece.
Tomáš Novotný (* 1952) is an associate professor at the Department of Philosophy of the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava and at the Department of Religious Studies of the Evangelical Theological Faculty of Charles University in Prague. He graduated from the Prague Conservatory (composition, conducting, French horn) and the Evangelical Divinity Faculty in Prague, where he also earned a doctorate in Old Testament (Hebrew sages).For ten years he was also the choirmaster of the girls' vocal ensemble Adash, and he is also the leader of the male vocal ensemble Noach, interpreting Hebrew songs.
