Malina, Jan

Jan Malina (*1979) studied double bass playing from the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava. After graduating, he taught for more than 10 years as a teacher of double bass, bass guitar and electronic keyboards. He currently works as a manufacturer and repairman of musical instruments, especially a double basses. He has been arranging and composing music continuously since his studies at the conservatory. His compositions are very pleasant, melodic and often jazz inspired.
