Miroslav Raichl (1930-1998) was a Czech music composer. His work covers almost all areas of music, he wrote operas, symphonies, pieces for chamber ensembles, choirs and songs. From the beginning of his composing activity, he devoted himself to vocal work, which represents the most numerous item in his work. He wrote satirical songs and chansons, and excelled especially in his works for children's choirs. He also liked to work in folk songs, where he most often set folk poetry texts to music.
